INTERDISCIPLINARY DESIGN AND
AUDIOVISUAL ART-INSTALLATIONS
Welcome to InterArt! We specialize in creating innovative audiovisual art installations that blend technology, nature, and human interaction.
PURPLE RAIN
Touch-sensitive fiberoptic rain.
STORY
The rain is no longer what it once was. It has turned a strange color, a sickly purple.
We were blinded by the glory of what our hands could build, and in turn, nature paid the price.
But maybe it’s not too late. With the same guilty hands, we might be able to reach out, purify, and heal the damage we’ve caused.
HOW
The lightstrands are made of touch sensitive fiber optics that measure the nano-electric signals that our bodies absorb, triggering the LED colors to change.
ABOUT
The installation has previously been exhibited at Universe After Dark in Universe Science Park and at Abandoned Future 2.0 hosted by Aarhus Lydforening.
PLANT SENSORIUM
Sonification of
botanical-human
relations.
A necessity for a thriving planet. A criteria for human survival. Yet. It has no voice.
Listen to the reactions of your touch. Should you interact, or should you not. How are others interacting? Should they?
STORY
The plant sensorium is a custom 12 channel sensor-based organic synthesizer. Sensors measure and sonify the picoelectric signals from a range of flora, reacting to the human-plant interaction.

The Plant Sensorium was developed with initial funding from Maker Faire Aarhus in 2023.
Later showcased at SEEK festival and PCD Aarhus in 2023
KOSMOS
An optical visualization of
the allelopathy and inter-
communication
of mosses
STORY
Two contrasting concepts.
Gray concrete, gray metal, dark gray paint and passive. A pillar made by humans.
Perishable.
Green mosses, delicate fibers, adapting and interconnected. A phenomena of nature. Everlasting.
HOW
Conductive thread interwoven in handmade tufted carpets replicating a variety of moss.
If touched, light-emitting fiberoptic cables visualize the volatile organic compounds used as communication-routes for autotrophic lifeforms(plants).

LUXIF
Dichroic refraction of the suns luminescence. A large scale immersive solar installation encouraging reflection on consumption.
STORY
Originally “Lux Sift - The Sunlight Sieve”.
LUXIF was developed for “One Day Festival” 2023. Expanded for private event in autumn of 2023. This year, it has been part of Permasports events at Northside Fesitval in aarhus.
The installation has been part of SEEK Festival 2024 under the theme “Bending Ocians with Light”. At SEEK the installation explored new refractions and reflection using special dichroic prisms.
The PrismTree was created in collaboration with SEEK Festival under the theme “Bending Oceans with Light.
Reflecting on our consumption of planetary resources
